They are headed for greatness and success! Their performance was spot on and their set list so perfect! The audience was all so very excited and energized to see them perform! They far exceeded what many expected! They almost had a complete sell out at Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL tonight. Can't wait to see where the guys go and what more they will accomplish in the future. I've been a big time fan since I first heard of them. The arena needs to make some tweaks to better serve the ADA community - adding additional wheelchairs would be a good start.Absolutely, positively one of the most exciting and new artists around! They were so very professional, spot on, amazing stage set up!! So glad I had the experience of seeing them for the very first time. One of the ushers mentioned that while it isn’t advertised so to speak, they will push someone to the ADA Parking in the PI garage across the street. The staff / ushers couldn’t have been any nicer or more helpful. But by the time we got the wheelchair for my FIL, the elevator line was gone and the ADA drop off zone was open - the one bonus for waiting, I guess. Keep this in mind if someone is driving you or if using Uber or another car service. So he’s saying he’s not going to be able to pick us up in the same (ADA) spot and he’ll be right across the street. However, on our way there, as we were stuck in Arena traffic trying to get to the ADA drop off, our driver tells me that usually Channelside Dr is closed off post events to car traffic by TPD to allow all the pedestrians leaving the arena to get out. That worked out very well - it was pricey for sure, but much more convenient. I decided to hire a car service to avoid having to park after dropping them off. Then there was a line for the one ADA elevator. This is where having your own would save considerable time. After the concert, you have to ask an usher to radio someone for you to get a wheelchair and wait your turn. The usher also politely redirected the 3 ladies that were in our seats. We did get to our seats on the floor with about 10 minutes to spare. It moved very slowly - could’ve been better staffed. Once you get a wheelchair & an usher, you have to get in the line for the ADA entrance on the ground/ plaza level. The ushers are great and kept hustling until everyone was helped. Clearly a Bocelli concert audience skews older but this could happen anytime. That night we were told that they have 12 wheelchairs but had 60 requests. So someone has to drop you off, go park, you wait for them because now everyone’s ticket is on someone’s phone. Closest ADA parking is the Pam Iorio garage across the street. So, there’s a drop off ADA area off Channelside Dr. The most helpful usher who pushed my FIL said it wouldn’t start until the arena was 80% or more full. The concert started over a half hour late because the audience wasn’t settled. My first and best advice is to come WAY earlier than you think you need to and if possible bring your own wheelchair if you need one. I recently attended the Andrea Bocelli concert with my elderly (87) FIL, and his nurse. As a concert venue, it’s way better than it used to be for sound following renovations made by the RNC Convention. As a hockey arena this place is fabulous, fun, perfect. This review is mostly for those who intend to use the ADA facilities.
